- The hacker index, from Episode 3, is needed to solve this code. The key number is 14 for the Dead Room door.

Mission 2
In NACS
- This document works with the hacker index, from Episode 3, to solve the door code in Audio #2.
- In spiral writing, notice the key phrases "conversion", "sum .... up", "align the new and old codes", and "median". Another key phrase is "Start at midnight and work till the eleventh hour."
- The symbols in the octagonal shapes represent numbers. Use the "to do" list to the find the corresponding numbers, going from top to bottom. The numbers range from 1 to 11.
- Step 1: Find the sums. Between the octagons numbered 3, 8, and 10, the triangle in the middle contains the sum of all three numbers: 21. The triangle between the octagons 3, 10, and 5 contains their sum: 18. Find the sums of the other octagons, and complete all the black triangles.
- Step 2: Write the sums as a sequence, starting with the top-most number and going around clockwise. Align these numbers with the given code for the Dead Room on the hacker index.
- Step 3: Find the median. Find the average between each two-digit sum and Dead Room code number. This is your new code.
Mission 3
- Notice the keyword "Octagon" that precedes the coded message.
- The code is encrypted using a shift cipher with a key of 8, because octagons have 8 sides. Shift each letter 8 places backward in the alphabet.
Jeremy's Letter
Mission 1
- Pay attention to the instructions needed to find the emergency frequency: the given frequency number must be shifted by the number of the sector Jeremy was in when he was separated from Jordan.
- Per the instructions to find the emergency frequency, the sector Jeremy was in when he was separated from Jordan was the location of NACS.
- NACS is located in sector T2.
- Use the number of the sector to shift the original frequency. The number to shift by is 2. Remember to shift up and not down.
- Number shifts always start back at 0 after 9.

- Upon entering this number, Jordan will tell you it isn't working. Theo has changed the door codes. Use keywords on another document in Episode 4 in conjunction with the hacker index to decipher the new door code.

- The sums equal 21, 24, 25, 30, 26, and 18.
- As a sequence from the top-most number around the circle clockwise, the sums are 21-24-25-30-26-18. When aligned with the Dead Room code, 21 corresponds to 15, 24 corresponds to 06, 25 corresponds to 17, 30 corresponds to 04, 26 corresponds to 16, and 18 corresponds to 12.
- The equations for finding the average of each number reveal the new code. By adding the corresponding numbers together and dividing by two, the resulting code is: 18-15-21-17-21-15.
Mission 3
- The encoded message "jmbemmv bew twvm xmisa awcbp wn i nwzmab" is shifted to "between two lone peaks south of a forest".
- Use the clue "between two lone peaks south of a forest" to find Theo's base on the terrain map.
- Theo's base is at S16 on the terrain map.
