Bus Ticket

The cipher for the handwriting on the back of the bus ticket has been used previously in this season.

The message is encoded with the QWERTY cipher, which was found in the text messages in Episode 2.
It reads: "One more week, love. Can't wait!"

Gavin had access to diazepam and confessed to putting the drug in Charlie's drink on the night he died.
- Toxicology Report (Episode 3): Showed that diazepam was present in Charlie's bloodstream, and was metabolized enough to suggest it was ingested at least one hour before his time of death.
- Interview Transcript: Gavin confesses to crushing up a valium pill and putting it in Charlie's drink on the night of the reunion.

Gavin has no clear motive for murder. He confessed to drugging Charlie, but there is no evidence that suggests that he wanted Charlie dead.

According to Gavin's confession, his movements on the night of put him far from the scene of the crime. Further statements from other witnesses corroborate this.
- Arthur's Statement (Episode 1): Describes that Gavin had wet hair when he arrived at Dimitri's Taverna, confirming that he showered after leaving the school.
- Mrs. Matsoukas' Statement (Episode 4): Confirms Gavin's arrival at the Taverna at around 10:15 PM.
- Interview Transcript: Gavin says he was returning to his hotel to shower at the time of Charlie's death.

Nic's career was at risk after he drunkenly divulged dark secrets about his work to Charlie during Arthur's karaoke performance. Nic also shared that the LFoA facility was putting pressure on him to make sure that the information did not continue to spread.
- Karaoke Video (Episode 3): Nic confesses to Charlie about his facility's unethical practices.
- LFoA Internal Memo (Episode 4): LFoA reminds their employees that breaking their NDA will result in immediate termination. The hidden code addresses Nic directly and warns him that this will not happen again.

Nic could not have killed Charlie because he was at Manifest Destiki during the time of his murder.
- Witness Statement (Episode 2): Nic was open about the fact that he was looking for Charlie at the reunion, and his account of his movements throughout the night were later confirmed.
- Surveillance Photos (Episode 4): Places Nic outside Dimitri Taverna at 10:23 PM.
- Bar Tab Receipt: Confirms Nic's location at Manifest Destaiki just a few minutes before Charlie's determined time of death.
