Compass

An impression of a dragon swan, which appears to be some mythical hybrid between a swan and a dragon - the combination of DRACO and CYGNUS (see the star chart from Episode 1).

JWJ connects the dots concerning his mother and his father - implying he is made from two, much like the Dragon Swan. Here his mother represents the swan, and his father the dragon.
"X." marks the spot again (see the alphabet card from Episode 3). Here, use the "X." position with the coordinates sheet and the compass. First, place the compass over the "X." and orient the dial so North is pointing toward the top of the page. With "N" pointing toward the top of the page, find 160 degrees on the dial and mark that angle. Remove the compass and measure 52mm from the "X." along that established angle and you will come to a word in the letter. The first word of the letter is "I". This solves the first coordinate N:160, 52mm.
Next, to solve "W:120, 32mm" you'll need to position the compass with North pointing to the top of the page again. Then you'll need to spin the dial left so the "N" symbol is facing "West" (per the inside of the compass). From there, follow the same angle and measurement steps above.

Images of the trips JWJ's mother could not make, her life limited by circumstances. Take note of the swirl design on the bottom of the plane.

When the coded message in JWJ's letter is deciphered using the "X.", the compass, and the coordinates, it reads:
- "I WILL LEAVE SOON. FREED FROM HADES, I WILL NEVER LOOK BACK. I WILL NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF ORPHEUS. THE TIME DRAWS NEAR."

This pink pig is to honor JWJ's second female victim: Valerie Madson. Pink, as Jacob mentioned in his email exchange from Episode 6, was the color of the dress Valerie wore when once visiting the Darlington facility. JWJ would have seen her too.
