Previously on Starstruck...
Shannon snuck into the hold trailer Gabe, Ollie, and Marcus used during the events of Jake's murder in the search for more clues. She thought that uncovering who Jake was talking to about his solo career would provide a direction for the investigation.
Ollie was the person in conversation with Jake about his solo career and also the one who, when he needed help with his sobriety, Jake ignored. Shannon wanted to make sense of these revelations, so she decided to talk to Ollie directly, despite the dangerous possibility that he could be the murderer.
